Phone Consultation
As part of our services, an initial complimentary phone consultation is available. This consultation will help determine the best approach to meet the communication needs of the individual client and to create appropriate recommendations for therapy, further evaluation, or referral to another specialist if warranted.
Evaluation
Comprehensive speech and language evaluations are conducted using a combination of standardized testing, informal assessments, parent interviews, and collaboration with various disciplines if necessary. Assessment results will help determine recommendations for therapy and a plan of care.
Treatment
Specific skills will be identified and targeted for therapy based on testing, readiness, and the family’s goals. Sessions can be individual with a 30-minute and 45-minute option. Most therapy recommendations are once to twice per week depending on the individual’s unique needs. At the conclusion of each session, your child’s therapist will share with you what was focused on and will provide you with suggestions and/or materials for at-home practice. If appropriate group therapy is available.
